City Walk Dubai is more than just a place — it’s a feeling and a lifestyle for nearby residents. But what’s the parking like?
Well, as an ultra-vibrant retail, dining, and hospitality destination where sunlight filters through tree-lined boulevards, City Walk is truly a must-visit hub for locals. But for all its luxury charm, finding the right City Walk parking spot can sometimes feel anything but relaxing.
Do not worry, though — this guide will bring calm before the car park. From valet services to convenient paid parking that can be validated when you shop or dine, get the best from your time in Dubai’s iconic urban quarter.
Use these tips to make parking in City Walk just as easy-breezy as your wander down the boulevard.
With City Walk’s popularity comes a high premium on space.
However, the parking experience has become far smoother, now working in the Salik charge system where cameras capture your plate number upon entry and exit, eliminating the need for ramps or ticket payments. Not a second is wasted waiting to enter or pay.
Depending on the length of stay and location of your chosen parking space, here’s how to navigate all your options:
Underground/Basement Parking
Much of City Walk Dubai parking is tucked discreetly below street level in basement lots. These spacious underground car parks are accessible via multiple entry points along Al Safa Street and Al Wasl Road.
They’re secure, well-lit for nighttime, and close to main retail and dining areas, making them ideal for longer visits or shopping trips. And the best part: they’re shaded from the daytime sun, meaning you won’t come back to a roasted vehicle.
Street Parking
There is also metered street parking surrounding City Walk’s open-air areas. These Paid RTA zones operate throughout the day with limits that vary by location. The CityGlow team recommends street parking for quick errands or short café stops. Just note that they can fill up fast during peak hours.
Valet Parking
For the ultimate premium convenience, valet parking is available at key entrances of City Walk Mall and select restaurants and hotels. Expect to pay around AED 55–100 per visit, depending on the venue and duration of your stay.
Valet is best for evenings out, business lunches, or when you simply prefer to step straight from your car into a welcoming lobby.
Underground/Basement Parking
There’s no more free parking at City Walk. The moment you enter, parking charges begin automatically at AED 20 per hour. The system works through license plate recognition, so charges are applied digitally — no tickets, no ramps, and no manual payments.
Street Parking:
Charged via RTA meters at standard Dubai city rates, usually AED 2–10 per hour and zone-dependent.
Valet:
Usually AED 55–100 per visit, depending on the operator.
Boulevard:
For drop-offs, pick-ups, and super-quick pit stops, the Boulevard at City Walk offers free parking for 30 minutes.
Residential Visitor Parking:
Each residential building in City Walk has its own designated visitor parking, located either on the ground level or in the basement. The same parking charges apply here as in the rest of City Walk.
While fully free City Walk Dubai parking no longer exists, there are still ways to enjoy complimentary time.
As all city residents will know, timing is everything when you want to beat the rush and find the best deals.
